FISHING REPORT

The weather here in Durango has been warmer than usual and the snow is melting which means the rivers are starting to have more flow.  We should be floating the Animas soon and the fishing season will offically start.  The San Juan River has been fishing great lately and we're offering discounted guided trips.  High country fishing will also be starting up soon book your summer trip now at a discounted rate.

RIVER REPORTS

Animas Flow: 266 cfs and rising

San Juan: 500 cfs and hoding

The Los Pinos(Pine) River Private:  45 cfs not fishable

EXCURSIONS

Brian Capsay will be competing in Santa Fe over April 3rd weekend and hopes to have a good Birthday weekend.  He'll be fishing either the Rio Grande or the Pecos River depending on run off and Santa Cruz Lake.  If you've ever fished these waters please drop Brian an email brian@caddiscompany.com and share any info to help him win the tournament.  Alec Gerbec long time Caddis Company guide will be fishing his first Team USA tournament in Bend Oregon over the May 10th weekend.  He's been working hard with Brian to polish up his skillset and is excepted to finish well.  He needs to finish in the top ten to get an invite to the National Fly Fishing Championships in PA this fall.  Good Luck Alec!
